to introduce new SLDs at Photonics West 2026 |

Superlum will present two new SLD solutions at
SPIE Photonics West 2026, expanding
our portfolio in both visible and near‑infrared ranges.
The
SLD‑mCS‑S640.8.1 delivers 1 mW
output through single‑mode fiber, 8 nm spectral width,
and coverage in the 635–640 nm range. Samples of this
compact visible‑range source are now available.
Complementing this, the
SLD series S780.14.30 provides up
to 30 mW output ex SM fiber, a typical central
wavelength of 780 nm, and 14 nm spectral width. With low
coherence and residual modulation depth of ~2%, it is
ideal for OCT, spectroscopy, and low‑speckle
illumination. Together, these launches highlight
Superlum’s commitment to advancing photonics innovation.
